Prayers Continue for the Family. Love you Nancy🌹

Remembering Eddie today, having worked with him at Montgomery County he was the kindest guy with always a smile. He helped fix my HVAC at my home and my mother’s hvac as well driving all the to Frederick. Saying no wasn’t in his vocabulary. I sure do miss him.

When I met Eddie in first grade he was already a force of nature.  His love of family, animals, art and music were incomparable even at  the age of six. Eddie played a strong and positive part of my childhood.  He was interested in so many things that his enthusiasm was contagious. Eddie left an indelible mark on me and my family. We were lucky to have known him.  


Dear Weathers family, 
     I only learned of Eddie's passing yesterday.  
     I have very fond memories of Eddie.  We were grade school classmates from first through eighth grade.  Eddie was always nice to me, and he was SO talented!  He sang Thunder Road for show and tell one time and I loved it because my brother used to sing that song, too.  Once we were supposed to draw a picture with one continuous line, never lifting the pencil from the paper. Eddie drew an intricate landscape with a sunset that was just amazingly beautiful. 
    I saw Eddie just once since eighth grade, in 2014 at a class reunion.  He was a happy man and graced us again with his singing, though this time I don’t remember what song. 
     Thank you so much for sharing all the family photos.  It was good to see that he had a good life. I know you miss him terribly.  I am thankful for the light that he shared.

I’m very sorry to hear of Ed’s passing.  We were neighbors on Olney Rd for years and I always enjoyed speaking with Ed .  He was always nice, happy and funny.  He’s a guy you wanted to drink a beer with.  I was sorry to see the family move to Fairfax years ago.  He always helped me with my HVAC .  He grew up in DC and I grew up in Philly so we shared a common bond of being city people living in the suburbs.   I will miss Ed and wish his wife Nancy and family peace and comfort.  

Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire Weathers family, on the passing of Eddie.   My husband Joe and I knew Eddie from working at Fairfax County.   He was a wonderful, kind man who always talked of his love for his family.    He would help anyone with anything, always showed he cared, and had a smile on his face every time we saw him.    He brought light and sunshine everywhere he went.    He will be missed so very much.    May God bring you all peace and comfort with each passing day.

Eddie was a great guy who we knew at Montgomery County.  He always had a smile on his face and a kind heart who helped my wife Mariam with her County projects,  my Mom and me as well with solving HVAC issues we had at our home.  I will truly miss Eddie and pray for his family during this very difficult time.  Rest in peace my friend and my God embrace you in heaven. 

Please accept our sincere condolences for the family friends and FMD.  Eddie Weathers was a remarkable man and everyone at Fire Facilities greatly appreciated him .  It was a great privilege knowing him.  we were humbled by his kindness and compassion to everyone around him and his job.  He will be greatly missed and everyone in the Fire Dept. that knew him or of him is saddened by his passing. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

Absolutely shocked to hear of Eddie’s passing and so sorry for Nancy and the family.  I can’t remember a time when I didn’t see Eddie with a smile on his face and always with an invite to sit/stand and have a chat and a beer!  Eddie was a "salt of the earth" kind of guy that you could always count on.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
