Effat Karimian

Effat Karimian, 92, passed away on June 25, 2026 at her home in Alexandria, VA. Born October 24, 1933, in Arabkhail, Iran. Effat lived a long life marked by dignity, determination and perseverance, and will be remembered for her steadfast love for her family, friends and the Baha’i Faith by all who knew her.

A Funeral Service will be held at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, US, on Thursday July 2nd. Doors open for refreshments and an hour with friends and family at 11am, with the funeral services beginning promptly at 12pm. Following the funeral service will be a graveside committal service at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201.
