Beth was born to Manfred and Florence Hein (both deceased) on June 30, 1964. She graduated from the University of Delaware Magna Cum Laude in 1986 and married James V. Brackett (deceased) in 1991.
She was an accountant at many companies over her career, including the past 17 years at Chenega Corporation.
She was actively involved in several square dance clubs, a NIST wine club and the Eastern Star (connected with Sharon Masonic Lodge).
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by more than a dozen aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her brother Matthew Hein (Geri Lynn Kessler) and her companion of 23 years Doren McBroom.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Inova Schar Cancer Center.
Family and friends will gather shortly after noon. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, May 26 in the main chapel at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA. Burial immediately following. Shiva will be held at the Brackett residence on Tuesday.
