Elizabeth S Levi

Elizabeth Sorensen Levi, 85, of Charles Town, West Virginia, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 in the Berkeley Medical Center, Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Mrs. Levi was born September 17, 1931 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Christen Sorensen and Vasha Spence Sorensen.

She graduated from Madison College, Harrisonburg, VA (now James Madison University). During her school days she was a collegiate athlete and later a sports coach.

She was a public school teacher at Clarke County High School, Virginia. She was a longtime resident of Clarke County, VA, followed by 31 years in Jefferson County, WV.

She was married to Donald Levi. Mr. Levi died April 10, 1999.

Surviving are a daughter, Susan V. Levi of Louisa, VA; and sons, Keith W. Levi of Missoula, MT and Mark S. Levi of Charles Town, WV.

Her brother, Donald Sorensen and sister, Ruth Sorensen, both preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 P. M. Friday, May 26, 2017 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA with Rev. Jonathan Bunker officiating. Burial will be in National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA.
