

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, August 1, at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, Virginia. A graveside service will be followed by a reception at National Memorial Park. Arrangements are by National Funeral Home.
Estelle was born in Washington, D.C., to Edward and Jennie (Aldort) Taylor on September 24, 1929. She married Edward Cohen on January 15, 1947, in Washington, D.C. They raised their family in Alexandria, Virginia, and worked together until his death in 1992. She was involved in a sorority throughout high school and was an active member of Agudas Achim’s sisterhood after moving to and establishing her home in Alexandria.
Estelle was an avid Redskins and Orioles fan and enjoyed entertaining, playing cards and Bingo and spending time with friends and family. After her husband’s death, Estelle moved to her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Maryland, residing with them for 22 years and helping with every aspect of running the household and raising her granddaughters.
Estelle is survived by her son, Martin Cohen, and his wife, Sandra; her daughter, Fran Wickham, and her husband, William; her brother, Bernard Taylor; six grandchildren, Andrew Cohen, Allison Cohen, Matthew Cohen, Ariel Wickham, Elena Wickham, and Jessica Williams; three great-grandchildren, Alexys Cohen, Hunter Cohen, and Wyatt Cohen; her sister-in-law, Marcia Cohen; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
