Ewell is predeceased by his parents John Milton and Jessie Kate Unthank. He is survived by his devoted children Jeffrey (Terrie) Unthank and Jacqueline Q. Grosky; grandchildren Ashley Council, Ryan Unthank, Vince Grosky, and Austin Unthank and greatgrandchildren Jackson Council, Brooks Council, Gabriella Unthank and Gavin Unthank. Ewell was a bus driver for Fairfax County Public Schools. He loved the game of baseball and was a passionate builder of bird houses.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday August 27, 2016 2:00 pm at National Funeral Home 7482 Lee Highway Falls Church, VA 22042 with burial to follow at National Memorial Park.
