On Wednesday, September 5, 2012. A 60 year resident of Arlington, VA. She worked beside her husband at his shoe repair shop, Sam Torrey Shoe Repair in Arlington, VA. Survived by her husband of 68 years, Sam Torregrossa; devoted mother of Damon (Nancy) Torregrossa, Jerry Torregrossa and Toni Kenyon; grandmother of Jennifer Torregrossa, Steven (Chris) Torregrossa, Michael and David Kenyon, Shannon (Jonathan) Torregrossa Beer and Damien Torregrossa; great-grandmother of Aaron, Thomas Joseph "TJ", Megan and Virginia Jane Torregrossa. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. to be followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the MURPHY FALLS CHURCH FUNERAL HOME, 1102 W. Broad St. (Rt. 7). Interment Fairfax Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity .
