

Of Arlington, Virginia died on January 14, 2014, at the age of 64, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Frank is survived by his wife, Barbara Phillips Ceresi, his two children Dan Ceresi of South Riding, Virginia, Nicole Friedrich and her husband Brent of Springfield, Virginia, and two stepdaughters, Lane Phillips of Albany, NY, Austin Kupke of Boston, Mass., and a sister, Pamela Lemmonds of Potomac, Maryland. He is also survived by nieces and their children who blessed his life. Deemed a Renaissance Man by many, Frank practiced law in Arlington County from 1975-1987 when he was appointed by the Virginia Legislature as Judge, Arlington Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court where he served with distinction. He left the court in 1997, opening the National Sports Gallery at what was then the MCI Center, serving as its Executive Director and Curator. Through his start there, in 2001 he became the Principal at FC Associates, a business specializing in museum consulting, professional appraisals and legal services relating to most American sports. A well known baseball historian, he authored and co-authored several books relating to his love of the game. Born March 30, 1949 to Katherine and Anthony Ceresi, Frank lived his life as a man who influenced many. A memorial service to honor his life will be held January 20, 2014 at The American Horticultural Society, River Farm, 7931 E. Boulevard Drive, Alexandria, Va. At 1:30.
