Freida L. Wolfe

She was born in Loudon Tennessee on January 3, 1930 to the late James and Mabel Penney.

Freida married her high school sweetheart, William "Bill" Wolfe on December 28, 1948.

They shared 67 years together until Bill's death on October 13, 2016.

She is survived by her three children.

Mike Wolfe (Betty) of Falls Church VA,

Linda King (Robert) of Pigeon Forge TN,

Robert "Bob" Wolfe (Dannette) of Fairfax VA

and five grandchildren

Carrie (Marty), Tim, Samantha (Moose),

Wade (Alyssa) and Michael

and two Great-Granddaughters, Zoe and Phoebe

She is also survived by a half-brother Jimmy (Crystal) of Darlington SC, a special sister-in-law

Gail Wolfe and a host of family and friends.

She lived in Vienna VA where she raised her children and then moved to Seymour TN for 27 years. She was a member of Hendrons United Methodist where she made many great friendships. Neighbors have always held a special place in her heart. Three years ago she moved back to VA. She loved gardening, pugs, and baking delicious cakes. She was kind and polite; southern, in the best of ways. She always spoke her mind.

She was an avid watcher of Wheel of Fortune; Jeopardy and the Price is Right. She loved entertaining especially if her family and friends were in attendance.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, her stepmother, her sister-in-law and her brother-in-law.

Another Leaf Has Fallen

Another leaf has fallen,

another soul has gone.

But still we have God’s promises,

in every robin’s song.

For he is in His heaven,

and though He takes away,

He always leaves to mortals,

the bright sun’s kindly ray.

and lovely forest, green.
