Fritzie was like everyone’s “Toastmasters Aunt” for those of us acquainted with her through District 36 Toastmasters. She was such a high-performing Toastmaster and provided tremendous support and assistance to her fellow Toastmasters over the years. I was extremely blessed by her generosity of service and kindness. It was always great to see her at speech contests, district conferences and training sessions. She had passion and energy; she was the rock you could rely on; and she always knew what she was doing. She was my “Toastmasters Guardian Angel” when I served as Area 52 Director during the 2015-16 year, helping me achieve recognition as a Distinguished Area Director. I couldn’t have done it without her. That year, district officers worked hard towards achieving President’s Distinguished District so we could be recognized at the 2016 Toastmasters International Convention held in Washington DC. It was a glorious year, and I thank Fritzie for her support and helping to make it happen.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Fritzie's family and friends. Fritzie's warmth, kindness, and loving spirit,  will always be remembered. Not sure if they have a "Toastmasters' Heavenly Chapter." If they do - we know Fritzie will be warmly embraced and welcomed. If they don't have a "Heavenly Toastmasters Chapter" -  Fritzie will start one!  

We hope memories of love, and fun, bring comfort and a smile. Always remember the love you shared. "Goodbye is not forever. It is not the end. It simply means we'll miss you, until we meet again."

My deepest condolences on the loss of your wife/partner, mother, family member, friend and pillar of the community.  

Fritzie will especially be missed by the many Toastmasters whom she served, trained and engaged with excellence and grace.  We mourn her loss and the void it leaves in our community.  However, we celebrate her life and the bright light that she was in our lives.

My heart is heavy thinking of Fritzie.  I am also reminded of how often we see couples and siblings in our Toastmasters community serving side by side—so connected that we rarely see one without the other.

I will miss Fritzie’s genuine smile and the warm hugs she greeted me with.  May her kindness and gentle spirit continue to be felt now and always.

I would like to take this moment to honor a true trailblazer, Mrs. Fritzie Leroy. She was a distinguished and passionate Toastmaster, a dear friend, and a source of positivity and resilience who inspired us all.

I will always remember how she faced challenges—not with fear, but with determination. When something seemed difficult, she never said, “I can’t.” Instead, she would say, “Let me try.” She constantly reshaped her thinking, strengthened her skills, and lifted others along the way.

Because of that unwavering mindset, she became an Outstanding Distinguished Toastmaster, leaving behind a legacy of courage, growth, and inspiration.

I just got a huge hug from Fritzie during the last contest season.  She is always a joy to be around.  She greets & hugs you; and before we part, she would hug you again!! If anyone got an opportunity to be around her, they would always smile & hug Fritzie.  I will never forget her kindness, smiles & hugs.  The world will never be the same without her; but her spirit will always comfort me.

To Jean-Pierre and the LeRoy family - I am very sorry for your loss.  

Fritzie was one of those people you remember because of how they made you feel. I remember Fritzie for her warmth, humor, energy, and that amazing voice. Her voice still rings clearly for me.

Fritzie was a Toastmasters superstar. I worked with Fritzie on several district conferences for about two hundred attendees, where she led a large committee of volunteers, worked with hotels, organizing the scripts, and much more. She gave much of her personal time and expertise. As District 36 Director, I named Fritzie the Toastmaster of the Year for 2015-16. Number one out of about four thousand Toastmasters! Fritzie was a huge part of the District’s success. And thanks to Fritzie for her work with many clubs and bringing in other LeRoys to Toastmasters!

I will never forget Fritzie’s smile and voice. A fantastic person. You are missed. 

Viki and I are sorry that we will be out of town on March 21.

Her compassion,  calm, and competence brightened our kreyòl day planning sessions, and her presentation in kreyòl on artificial intelligence was nothing short of brilliant. She is simply irreplaceable.

It is with profound distress I learnt the passing of Fritzie. She was such a gentle soul with a wonderful personality. I will always cherish the  precious moments we spend working together in promotion of Haitian kreyòl. Her intelligence, her competence, her dedication were remarkable. My sincere condolences to Jean-Pierre and her children and the rest or her family. She leaves a big void in our heart and in the community.
