Gary Wayne West

Gary was born November 9, 1963, in Arlington, Virginia, the cherished son of Dorothy P. West and grandson of Nellie P. Bennett (deceased).

He was proud to be the father of his two sons, Jeremy and Jason, whom he cherished beyond measure. He was their guiding light, always offering wisdom, encouragement, and the example of what it means to be a steadfast man.

Those who knew Gary will remember his love of family and friends. He touched many lives, leaving behind warm memories, and a legacy of love.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kristen, and his sons Jeremy (Caroline) and Jason; his mother, Dorothy P. West; as well as treasured aunts, uncles, and cousins. Gary will be deeply missed by all who had the gift of knowing him.

Though he left this earthly home, his presence will forever live on in our hearts.

A visitation will be held at National Funeral Home, located at 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, on November 13, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

The funeral service will follow at the same location from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The committal service will take place at National Memorial Park, also at 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on November 13, 2025.

The reception will be held at National Funeral Home in the James Room immediately following the burial from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
