

Local Pilot and Flight Instructor
Mr. Cox was a WW II Veteran serving in the Air Corp on Guam in the Pacific 1942-1946. He was a wing Commander of the Civil Air Patrol National Capital Wing, Washington, D.C. 1971-1973. Flight Instructor at Manassas Airport and Marine Base Quantico retiring after 52 years.
In addition to flying, his career included 41 years as a Government Communication Analysis for the C&P Telephone Company of Washington, D.C. retiring from AT&T with 42 years of service.

Grandchildren, Karen A. Ingram of Warrenton, Virginia, Kristin L. Morrison of Warrenton, Virginia, John A. Fulcher of Leesburg, Virginia, and Clifford H. Foster, Jr., of Moyock, North Carolina and seven Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will begin Thursday , June 25, at 10 a.m. at National Funeral Home,7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, Va. 22042, with a Visitation followed by a Burial Service with Military Honors at 11 a.m. in National Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of George Allen Cox to the Civil Air Patrol National Capital Wing, 222 Luke Avenue, Suite 2, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. 20332-5114.
