Dear Dorothy and girls, I just learned of Georges' passing--I am so very sorry--
my heart bleeds for all of you.  What a hard and difficult thing to go through.He 
was the consummate  Marine and gentleman.  He will be remembered in my

Dear Dorothy, Heather, Stephanie, Melissa and the extended Douse family:

I am so sorry for your loss.  For as long as I can remember, George was such a great friend to my Dad, Moe Whalen.  So many of his stories over the years involved George in one way or another – whether playing golf, canoeing, book clubs and dinners, the Douse's were always involved.  When dad passed away two years ago, both George and Dorothy were right by my mom's side and have provided such enormous comfort to her ever since -- something for which my sisters and I will be eternally grateful. 

Please know that our family is grieving for you, our hearts go out to you, and we are so honored to have called such a wonderful man our friend.
