Born in Staunton, VA on April 13th, 1921, she was a lifelong resident of the Washington D.C. area and was married to the late Richard Edward Hardy on Oct.7, 1939.
She is survived by four daughters; Dorothea Carlisle of Port Orange, FL; Patricia McAllister of Falls Church, VA; Diane Campbell of Mt. Jackson, VA; Barbara Mitchell of Centreville, VA; and the late Brenda Ford. She was a loving Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother, as well as Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last survivor of her generation in her family and will be greatly missed by all.
