Yo conocí a Gladys desde que yo era una niña y siempre fui admiradora  de su belleza, elegancia, gran corazón y amabilidad. Para mí fue un ejemplo para seguir.
Ella fue parte de una gran familia y tuvo unos bellos niños que hoy son unos grandes señores;
Para nuestra familia  fue una triste perdida pero siempre la llevaremos en nuestros corazones.

Remembering Gladys on this the third anniversary of her passing.  Remembering how special she was and how I miss our talks.  She was an inspiration to me and still is.  I was fortunate to have her for a friend and count my blessings every day.  I pray God gives peace and comfort to her family.

Today I went with my mom and kids to visit my Tia Glady's gravesite. We placed some pretty flowers in the vase. I told my Tia that I miss her and so wish she was still here with us. We love You Tia.

This coming Saturday, July 30th, will be the third Anniversary of my dear sister Gladys Plumb going to be with the Lord. I miss you dear sister and look forward to seeing you in due time. Love you!

If there was ever a day in the four years I worked with Gladys that she was not smiling, I cannot recall it. She possessed a compassion and gentleness I have rarely encountered in my life, and every time we talked, that fact was impressed on me. The world is a better place for having had her in it.

Gladys was a true professional and a lady.  Her office was next to mine and we would both enjoy listening to her wide range of music.  Soft spoken and gentle. That's how I'll remember her.

Gladys was one of the most humble and caring persons I have ever known.  She always  had a smile and kind word for everyone.  I worked with Gladys for many years.  I enjoyed the times when she would come into my office or I would go to hers and talk about our families - always in Spanish.  She was so proud of her sons.  She had a deep, abiding faith in God and I know she is with him in Heaven now, free of pain. Rest in peace, mi amiga. You were an inspiration to me! You will be missed.

My sister Gladys was chosen by God to devote her life and professional career to the wellbeing of her family; she was a wonderful daughter and sister (the oldest of five siblings), and a devoted wife and mother. She was the most generous, selfless, and kind person. She always put the needs of other people first and was always ready to help those in need.
In her professional career she was a pioneer of the Colombian television, and during her life in the USA, she worked for a very important organization where she was the producer and host of a radio program that was broadcasted in Latin America and other Spanish speaking countries. But most important of all is that my sister had a great faith and loved the Lord, her Creator. For me she represents the Women of Noble Character of the book of Proverbs (worth to read). Chapter 31:30 says: “… but the women who fears the Lord is to be praised” and that was my sister. Love you “hermanita” and I'll see in heaven.

I loved chatting with Gladys in Spanish! She was so patient with me! I worked with her for three years and enjoyed every moment. She will be greatly missed.

Gladys was one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever known. We worked together for 10 years, and I remember her door always being open to anyone who wanted to talk or who needed encouragement. She also was a highly intelligent woman and a consummate professional, and yet was humble about her many accomplishments. What I will remember most about Gladys was her unfailing faith in God and her deep love for her family. Adiós, mi amiga y mi mentor. Estoy triste, pero sé que estás en el Cielo con Diós.

Gladys made it joy to go to work each day.  She was a kind, gentle and talented producer, writer and radio host.  She would often talk about her beloved country, Colombia, and the troubles it was going through.  But she was always remained positive that they would overcome their problems.  It was this incredible ability to remain hopeful and positive that kept Gladys alive for years as she battled cancer.  However, God finally called her home.  She will remain a positive force in my life and all who had the great fortune to know her.  She will be missed and remembered by all.  Larry Y Higgs
