I know tomorrow will be the anniversary of Greg's passing. May Greg live in the wonderful memories he has left with the Denkler family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I just learned of Greg's passing and am stunned.  I had the utmost respect for Greg - he was smart, always prepared, impeccable, pleasant, caring and well liked.  He was a professional at all he did.  The world lost one of the really good guys.

Greg was one of the finest people I have met in my whole life.

I found out yesterday and I can't stop thinking about all of you.

Greg was a super person and I had honor of working with him and Melissa (way back in the 80s). I live on the west coast, so just saw the news.  My prayers for Melissa and family.

I just learned of Greg's passing and am so deeply sorry!!!  He was such a wonderful father, husband, coach and friend!!!  He lived the true example of a great man!! Our love and prayers go out ot the entire Denkler family!!

Sending my deepest sympathy to Melissa and the Denkler family.  Greg was so generous with his time as he helped me step into the volunteer role of Aces Soccer Club Manager upon his departure five years ago.  It was only after taking on the job that I began to realize the foresight, the amount of time, and the effort he had spent over many years in developing the Aces Club and in helping to guide ASA's recreational soccer program.

The moving and well-attended service at St. Agnes last week was an appropriate send-off. Greg, thank you so much.

I worked for Greg 20 years ago at Stanley and haven't seen him since about 1998, but he left a lasting impression on me and my career.  He was a stand up man and a gentleman.  I remember him as a decisive leader who cared about his team.  He asked a lot of you but he gave a lot in return. He was the brightest spot on that management team. My heartfelt condolences to the Denklers.

A good family man.  I worked with Greg in the 90's and saw him often on the Yorktown High School fields taking wonderful pictures of our girls.  The many tangible memories us parents have of our daughter's sports days are due in large part to this man.  Cherish the memories.

On behalf of the Arlington Soccer Association, I extend our deepest sympathy to the Denklers.  Greg's insistent strength and can-do nature, and his subtle sense of humor, all conspired to elevate those around him.  In the youth soccer world, Greg served in many capacities, and he did so fully and with energy.  As a volunteer coach, Rec Club Manager for the Aces, uber-volunteer for years with the ASIST tournament and various other roles, Greg took care those around him and never left outcomes in doubt. 

Thanks to Greg for his wonderful and complete efforts on behalf of the children.  Thanks to the Denklers for sharing Greg with ASA.  Countless kids (and adults) are better as a result.

We send our deepest sympathies to Melissa, the girls and the extended family as well as his USNA family.  We met Greg a couple of times and his conversation was meaningful and enjoyable.  He will be missed.  God Bless.

I am so sorry about Greg's passing. We were best friends in high school and after that we kind of drifted apart. I can see that he was as full of life at the end as he was in high school. My prayers are with you.

Greg has been part of the Matrix since its inception, as a parent in our first year and then for many years as an assistant coach and head coach in our organization.  Emmalee, Caitlyn and Audrey all played for the Matrix for multiple years each and  Melissa was a key organizer for years.  It is not an stretch to say that the Matrix would not be where we are a basketball club today had it not been for the efforts of Greg and the Denkler family.

My deepest condolences to the Denkler family.  I did not know Greg, but served with his father in the Navy and at the Federal Reserve for many years. If Greg's character was as strong as his father's, and i am sure it was, the world is less enlightened with his passing.  How very sad this is.
