My deepest condolences to Parri, Ariel, and Zahra for their great lose.

Hamid was my Grandfather's first cousin. He was one of the most helpful people I have ever known. When I immigrated to the United States with my family in the mid 1970's, he was the one who took me to register in school, and he was the one who took me to get my Learner's Permit. The best cousin I ever had. Thank you, Hamid.

He will be missed tremendously.

My deepest condolences to the family. Hamid was one of my producers when I worked at the Voice of America. He became my personal friend. I have great memories of this gentleman, producer, and fiend for many years. I am truly sorry to read about this passing.
