Harold James Douglas, 88, of Falls Church, VA passed away on April 3rd, 2022. Harold was born in Washington, D.C. son of Rhoda Pearl Douglas and James Franklin Douglas. Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary K. Douglas, and one brother, Eugene Franklin Douglas.
He is survived by two nieces. Martha Ann Exum of Jessup, MD and Patricia Carol Exum of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and other extended family.
He was retired from the Federal Government and was a past volunteer of the Dunn Loring Fire Dept. in Vienna, VA. Harold and Mary spent many years traveling and camping and square dancing.
A funeral service for Harold will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Homes, 1102 West Broad Street, Falls Church, VA 22046. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
