

She was born May 22, 1924 to the late Joseph and Clara D. Massett of Anaconda, Montana.
Helen, along with her children, relocated to Falls Church, Virginia where she worked as a Naval proof reader for the government until her retirement.
She was a devoted sister, mother and grandmother and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, cross word puzzles, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Helen was pre-deceased by four brothers Peter J. Massett, Joseph G. Massett, Michael J. Massett, John J. Massett; three sisters Margaret Salle, Mary Kelly and Catherine Norman; and a daughter Sandra M. Hammersley.
Helen is survived by her brother Frank M. Massett; her sister Lucy H. Newman; a daughter Katherine Delawder; a son James Brenner and daughter-in-law Brenda Brenner; 8 grandchildren Sherri Patt, Melissa Payes, Jennifer Hammersley, Terri Corcoran, Lisa Newsome, Tina Rivenbark, James Hammersley and Brian Delawder; 20 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at National Funeral Home 7482 Lee Hwy. Falls Church, VA 22024 on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2 p.m. with interment services following at 3 p.m. at National Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family invites friends for food and fellowship following interment at the Brenner home located at 43901 Championship Place Ashburn, VA 20147.
