

Inder Singh Bains was born on May 19, 1956, in Punjab, India, to Surjit Singh and Satya Devi. He completed his education through high school and carried with him the enduring values of resilience, discipline, and determination that shaped his life.
He married the love of his life, Kamaljit Kaur Bains (née Jagdeo), and together they built a home centered on resilience, hard work, authenticity, and unwavering devotion to one another and to their family.
Inder was a proud business owner in the auto parts industry and a strong investor in commercial real estate throughout the DMV area. Through his entrepreneurial spirit and tireless work ethic, he built businesses, investments, and a lasting legacy grounded in integrity and perseverance.
A man of few words but deep loyalty, he was always thinking ahead and was known for having the best one-liners that could make anyone laugh.
He was a devoted husband, father, and member of the Sikh community. His strength, independence, humor, and steadfast commitment to those he loved will be remembered always.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kamaljit Kaur Bains; his sons, Gurpreet Singh Bains and his wife Navneet Pandher, and Ajaydeep Singh Bains and his fiancée Bianca Natt, along with extended family members and friends who will continue to honor his memory.
The family extends sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Shady Grove Hospital and UMD Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for their care and compassion.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at National Funeral Home in Arlington, Virginia, followed by a bhog at 12:00 p.m. at Sikh Foundation of Virginia.
