It is really so sad to find out you are not longer with us.

Thinking of you tremendously. Things are not the same without you, but of course I knew these days would come, just not so soon. It's a painful struggle for all of us. Watch over us. I wish you were here to see how the store turned out. It's so beautiful.

I will miss our conversations and stories we had at Souvenir City. I considered you a friend and you will be missed. Eleni, Jimmy was always willing to help and was a kind and compassionate man. He will be missed.

I will miss all your stories Jimmy- Just wont be the same in DC without you!! You are and will always be an ICON in DC- This years Inauguration will NOT be the same without you!

I just heard about Jimmy's sudden death. I'm shocked and saddened beyond words. His kindness, generosity and good humor were known from coast to coast. It's impossible to think of Washington and not think of Jimmy, who meant more to teachers and school children nationwide than any politician or diplomat. In fact, to countess visitors to the Nation's Capital Jimmy was Washington. He will be missed in ways impossible to describe. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, daughter and everyone at Souvenir City

Just found out that James had passed away.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.  For the past 13 years we (Crockett MS) have come to DC we always took our kids to shop at Souvineer City.  James was always so nice to our kids and we enjoyed visiting with him every year.  It will be sad this year not to see him.

You left too soon and it is hard to say 'good bye' this way. You were more than a brother to me.
