James Joseph Raley, Jr., 85, of Vienna, VA, died peacefully on March 17, 2025. Born on August 19, 1939 in Washington, DC, to James J. Raley, Sr ("Woody") and Frances M. (King) Raley, James ("Jim") was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Roberta ("Bobbie") Ann Raley. He is survived by his sister Suellen (Nick) Paleologos; his three children - Kathleen (David) Susman, Marjorie (Tony Treston) Raley, and James J. Raley, III; his grandchildren - Patrick Susman, Melanie Susman, Daniel Susman, and Michael Treston. His wife was the great love of his life and he also had a passion for family genealogy. A celebration of both Bobbie and Jim will be held at a later date.
