

Jan was born in Washington, DC to Morris and Annell Rosen on March 8, 1958. She went to school in Silver Spring and graduated from The University of Maryland.
She worked as a Human Resources Director and Business Manager for Rockville Nursing Home for 39 years.
She was involved in Softball at Northwood High School, Many Coed Softball Leagues, playing and coaching these teams with her friends as a young adult. Assisting with baseball, basketball, and soccer teams that her nephews participated in, from small children to young teenagers. As her nephews entered their high school years, she continued to keep a scorebook and didn’t miss a game. This wonderful habit of hers didn’t stop when they were in college and even their softball years. She loved being around the ball field and loved her nephews even more. She received Achievement of 39 years of employment at Rockville Nursing Home.
Jan is preceded in death by Lena Koslow, Morris and Annell Rosen, Louis and Ruth Rosen.
Jan is survived by her brother Harold Rosen, sister-in-law Valerie Rosen, her nephews Andrew, Steven, and Kevin Rosen. Her great nephew Aiden Rosen.
Pallbearers will be Harold Rosen, Andrew Rosen, Steven Rosen, Kevin Rosen, Nick Hoffman, and Aaron Thomas.

Funeral and Burial services will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, August 21st, at National Funeral Home/King David Memorial Gardens with Rabbi Jonathan Maltzman officiating.
Arrangements are by National Funeral Home.
