Of Arlington, VA, passed on Thursday, January 3, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Ben Hale (Mara); her two grandsons, Gavin and Bryce; other beloved relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Grace Hale. She is also survived by one brother, Thomas (Diane) Hale of Colorado. Janet loved gardening and art, and leaves behind her treasured drawings and paintings. The funeral service, followed by burial, will be held on Saturday, January 12 at 2 p.m. at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Senior Employment Resources.
