Janet Newlove

Our dear mother, Janet Ellen ( Geiger) Newlove sadly passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 81. She was born on November 25, 1940, in Boyertown Pennsylvania, to Russell and Beulah Geiger. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Falls Church, Va throughout her life. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She gave great advice and always stood up for what she believed in. She was an outstanding RN for over 35+ years, which showed her dedication and care for helping others. She loved the theatre and arts and spending time singing and acting. She loved taking long cruises where she could see the world and all of the beauty it has to offer. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community throughout Northern Virginia. Lastly, she adored and lived her cat Chloe so very much. They were inseparable.

She was predeceased by her loving parents, Russell and Beulah Geiger. She is survived by 3 children, Steven Newlove (Nicole Dimitriou), Natalie Newlove (Jeffery Wright) and Alison Newlove (Jose Hernandez). She is survived by grandchildren, Nathan Newlove, Mateo Hernandez, Stefan Hernandez, Jane Dimitriou and Nickolas Dimitriou.

A memorial service to remember Janet’s beautiful life will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Falls Church, Va.
