Jay Henry Choi, M.D., 85, of Alexandria, VA, passed away October 5, 2012. He was the loving husband to Mary Anne Choi and was a beloved Physician in South East Washington, DC for many years. Mr. Choi was born April 21, 1927 in Tokyo, Japan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Dianne Borrero (Gerard) of Woodbridge, VA; two sons, Mark Choi (Anna) of Alexandria, Keith Choi (Michele) of Manassas and six grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA with interment to follow in National Memorial Park. The family viewing is scheduled at the funeral home Tuesday, October 9th, 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
