Dear Bob, Rich, Sheila, Ted and Susie,

My heart is broken. Your mother was my best friend and has been since were were 13 years old and living in Brighton. Along with dear pal, Peggy McDonald, the three of us were inseparable. Whether it was skiing, dancing, or double dating; we did it together. From being in each other's weddings, to standing by as the Godmother of each other's babies, we shared the joys and pains of life. When visitng each other became difficult, we would spend hours chatting on the phone..until that was no longer possible either. Strangely, I just happened to stumble on this notice... but then again maybe not....for afterall she was my most precious friend. 
Your mother was a wonderful and strong woman and I will miss her terribly.

I remember playing bridge with Jean and Joe.  We Foxhall people knew each other and things were great.  My heart goes out to the family as adjust to her absence, but her love of family will always be with you.

Bob, Rich, Sheila, Ted, Susie.....you and your families are in my thoughts.  I will never forget the days on Foxhall, spending time at 1916, indoor games, outdoor football, first place I had fried ham and onion sandwich (which I still make today).  Mr. Crowley and Rich deep into a strategy board game or listening to a very static-filled baseball game on the radio.  And Mrs. Crowley keeping everything together and enjoying her family and their friends.  Great memories which I will always have (while still not completely remembering something about a broken screen which I apparently was a party to).  All my love, Mark

To all the Crowley's, So sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She was a wonderful woman and I will remember her friendly spirit. I can see her now with my mom standing outside church catching up on the latest news. May she rest in peace.
