Born on May 23, 1933, in Cleveland OH. Jean devoted her early years to caring for others as a nurse before dedicating herself fully to raising her family and caring for her three children.
Jean found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments. She loved gardening and took great pride in watching flowers bloom and plants grow. She also had a deep love for animals and nature. Jean enjoyed riding her stationary bike and, in her younger years, loved cooking and hosting family meals that brought everyone together. Her warmth, kindness, and nurturing spirit touched all who knew her.
Jean is survived by her sons, Doug Levin (Jenny) and Bob Levin (Kathy); her cherished grandchildren, Bobby, Erica, and Nicole; her brothers, Leonard Nester (Barbara) and Mason Nester (Audena); and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Hazel Nester, and her beloved daughter, Sharon Levin.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17, at 11:00 a.m. at National Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society via American Cancer Society
