Dear Jeff,  I will be running this year's 2019 Lawyer's Have Heart Race in Washington, D.C. , for you.  You helped me with my interview questions, talked me through the process of getting hired by USDOJ and I have never forgotten your mentoring me about "life as a fed."   You  were best friends with Paul and Rob.  They still think of you, Jeremy and the exclusively "guys camping weekends at Ohio Pyle."  We still think of you,  and miss you very much.  You and your family are never far from our thoughts and prayers.  I will carry your spirit with me through the finish line.   Edie

I found out today that Jeff had passed away. As we go through life, we lose touch with wonderful people like Jeff. When I would think of Jeff, I would have fond memories. I spoke the words of the Kadish today reverently in his honor. My thoughts are with family and friends who lost a friend, patriot, and mensch.

Terry and Family:

I still think about and miss the lunch get together that Jeff and I used to have. Hopefully, you and your family had a Happy Chanukah and also wish your and Jeff's immediate family, A Happy and Safe New Year.

I miss him every day. Still feel blindsided.

It has been over a month since I heard of Jeff's passing. It still hits me hard. I met Jeff while in the same reserve unit and got to know him during our deployment to Iraq in 2003-2004. Jeff help set up a small post exchange were we could buy small but valuable items to give us a since of civilization. To most, a box of Oreos may not seem like a big deal, but just being able to go into this little "store" and browse for such pieces of America was a real morale booster.
Jeff also helped morale,in the Major's House by getting satillite TV up and running. I will forever remember him sitting on the couch shouting "Jerry! jerry! jerry!" When the Jerry Springer show came through in a pretty clear picture. Again, it was these small things that turned out to be the most important to us. I will miss our lunches together and how he laughed at my family stories. Rest easy soldier and may God embrace you forever.

Dear Terry, I was shocked when I received the email last Wednesday on Jeff's passing. I played softball with Jeff for the DCJCC in 1990 and again in 2001. Jeff and I used to get together for lunch many times a year first at Subway at the Ronald Reagan Building and later near the Farragut West Metro Station, while working at the Consumer Agency, were he recently working.Later, we met at Pop Belly's at the Metro Stop near Union Station. Dear Terry and Family,
I worked with Jeff for a short time at the EPA and got to know him as a devoted family man and proud veteran.  I enjoyed so much working with him - he was one of the nicest people I have known.  I can't imagine your sense of loss and sadness.  Know there are many of us who appreciated his sense of humor and generosity of spirit.

Dear Terry, I spent several years with Jeff in the Army Reserves in Riverdale, MD and thought very highly of him.  I am so sorry to hear of his passing.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Terry, although I don't believe we've ever met, I was a classmate of Jeff's at Upper Dublin High School in Fort Washington PA.  Your husband was an affable, easy-going and well-liked guy at that time.  I did not have many interactions with Jeff in our adult life, but I have been involved in planning our high school class reunions for the last 30+ years, and I can tell you that we are all saddened by his passing.  He was far too young to leave us but please know that he will be remembered fondly by his classmates.  God bless you and your children, and again, my sincere condolences.

We were shocked and saddened when we heard the news. Jeff was a fixture as baseball and Scout events for as long as we've been involved. He was a true family man and I am very sorry for your loss. Your family will be in our prayers.

We recently got to know Jeff while he coached the Volleyball team in our area. My son Daniel and I very much appreciated Jeff's patient approach to coaching/playing the gameJeff's successful ability to train and motivate the kids has been evident in the way the kids/team have been playing this season. I recently asked Daniel what he appreciated most about playing the game and he replied the coach, because he helps me be a better player. Daniel and I will always be grateful to Jeff, and we shall preserve his memory as we continue to play the game. RIP Jeff.
