Jessica Toye Clark

On September 8th, 2026, Jessica Toye Clark went home to be with her Lord and Savior. For the past 9 months, she fought a very tough battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. At the time of her death, Jessica was surrounded by family and friends, and passed peacefully.

Jessica is survived by her Husband Paul and Son Benjamin of Ashburn, VA; Parents Nelson and DeSales (Schwind) Toye of Falls Church, VA; Brother Neale Toye of Falls Church, VA; Father-in-Law Herbert Clark of Lutherville, MD; Sister-in-Law Cathy Joyce of Renton, WA; Sisters-in-Law Becky and Kathy Vail of Ocean City, MD; and Nieces Jamie and Kate Vail of Ocean City, MD. Jessica was preceded in death by her Mother-in-Law Nancy Clark of Lutherville, MD and her Brother-in-Law Thomas Clark of Baltimore, MD.

In addition to her immediate family acknowledged above, across both the Clark and Toye families, Jessica is survived by 28 Aunts and Uncles and 194 Cousins (First, Second. Et al)

Jessica will be remembered with love by her extended family, her numerous cherished friends and by many others who had the pleasure of knowing her.

For years, Jessica was a cat mama and later in life also became a dog mama. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a local animal shelter.

If ever there were a Bible Passage that defined Jessica, it is from 1 Corinthians 13, specifically verses 4-8.

4. “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

5. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

6. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

7. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.”
