He was born in Frankfurt, Germany on August 25, 1928; graduated from Brooklyn Technical Institute and received a Bachelor of Sccience in Chemical Engineering.
He was married to Shirley Resnick Baer on June 26, 1955; he is survived by Jeffrey (Naomi), Edwin (Cami), Susan (Steve), Jason, Sydney, Mackenzie, Maximillan, and Zachary.
Funeral arrangements will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 8:45 a.m. at Olam Tilevah; interment to follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA at 10:00 a.m.
