John T. Bigger of McLean, VA died on August 22, 2014. Survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Tacey Hollinger Bigger, daughters Shea Cochran (Loren), Kerry Farley (Jeffrey), Lee Roberts (Robert), sisters Sharon Lewis (Kreis), Betty Reck (Robert), many nieces and nephews and 8 grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 27, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Murphy Funeral Home in Falls Church, VA. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday August 28 at 11:00am at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church in McLean, VA, reception to follow. Inurnment Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John’s name to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michael’s Road, Henrico, VA 23229 or Gabriel Project Arlington, 200 North Glebe Road, Arlington VA 22203.
