John William Lockwood born on December 29th 1933 in Washington D.C. to William Angelo Lockwood and Christine Miller Lockwood of Mclean, Va. He left this world the morning of January 28th 2014 at The University of Virginia Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anna Mae Lockwood, 2 children Debra Keller ( husband Tim) and Douglas Lockwood, 2 grandchildren Bryan Keller (wife Jada) and Amber Keller (boyfriend RC) He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren in which he loved and adored Raylee Keller and Liam Hagen.
John served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean war, he worked many years for geological survey, retired and relocated to Mineral, Va in 1988 with family.
John was a well respected man in Falls Church and Mineral. He touched the lives of many people in his 80 years and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the service Monday February 3rd at 11:30am, funeral to follow.
