He was born in Nairobi, Kenya on December 15th, 1946. He received his Masters Degree from the University of Nairobi.
He was married to Florence on July 29th, 1972.
He is survived by his wife, Rodah Florence Otieno and his children Francois and George Otieno. He has two grandchildren, Omarion and Darren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 16 from 5pm-8pm at Advent funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 10am at Cornerstone Evangelical Church, 3901 Gallows Road, Annandale, VA. (There will be a viewing at the church from 9am-9:45am.) Interment at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA.
