Joseph F Nahan

Joseph F. Nahan , Age 93, Major US Army (Ret) on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 of Falls Church, VA and a native of Newport, RI. Beloved husband of Mary C. Nahan; loving father of John E. Nahan (Mary) and Diane M. White (Phil); grandfather of Renee & Michael and great-grandfather of Joel and Colin; brother of John B. Nahan & Isabel Harvey. After serving 20 years in the U.S. Army, Mr. Nahan began a career with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, retiring in 1985. He was also a graduate of Ohio State University, past president of the Falls Church Kiwanis Club and a member of the Kemper-Macon Ware Masonic Lodge #64. Friends may call at Murphy Falls Church Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St. (Rt.7), Falls Church, VA from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, June 17. A service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, June 18 at the same location. Interment Arlington National Cemetery with Full Military Honors at a later date.
