Kya kahoon aapse. Bas itna hi ki after losing Grandpa, and when I heard the news about you getting sick I felt a shock. Though, everyone has to return to God one day, but I could only imagine and see the flashback as far as I am able to remember that you always took care of the family from the beginning and have taught this to everyone in family.

You know a Mother is an example of patience and building a family. I can think of what you have passed on to next generation which is all of us, I imagine only that you are not there physically any more but will remain in our hearts forever we live. You always showed wisdom, strength and a steel resolve no matter what you faced. You raised 4 wonderful children and 6 grandchildren, all who love you dearly.

You raised me from the start and I always knew everything would be ok when you were there. You were kind, loving and passed down your values which I hope to carry to the next generation. You showed love and discipline equally, always fair in your decisions. You knew that play and study were both important and taught me that balance from a young age.

I remember crying when you’d leave for India, promising to do this and that, clean up my toys and go to bed on time if only you’d stay. I would be overwhelmingly excited when we would go to get you from the airport when you came back. We’d play cards, take walks, watch Ghar Ek Mandir over and over.

Words don’t cover it but thank you. Thank you for always understanding me. Thank you for raising me. Thank you for all the work you put into building this beautiful family.

You deserve to rest now. Rest peacefully, Barimama.

My Bari mummy was a woman of substance! She had never deviated, neither had compromised on her life principles. 
She has faced all of life’s ups & downs gracefully and that’s what she had taught her children too all along. Bari mummy’s life had revolved around her children and grandchildren in making sure that we grow up to become a good human being so we could live our lives with utmost dignity while staying humble. 
Bari mummy- I can write a book cherishing my  memories with you. But this tribute is to all the unconditional love you have given to us from the day we were born, from the baby dress you had designed & stitched (in this picture attached) for me, to the day I was getting married, and you were yearning to tie the ‘kalira’ on me to bless me on my onwards martial journey with my half, Rahul. 
You have stood by us as a family through all brights & blues & we can never forget or pay that back in any way except by only being grateful and thankful to you. You have been mummy’s strength always, & Papa had found a mother in you, I can’t forget how Papa used to ask me secretly, to hide your purse to make you stay every time you used to visit us. You were the first person to show up when ishan and I had any illness, to be around and with us. 
Thank you Bari mummy again for your unconditional love for us. We will cherish our memories together for life & will never forget what you have taught us.

Mrs. Kapoor was one of my favorite patients at Lifecare! You could tell who had transported her before because they’d have her pillows the way she liked without having to be told. She was always so sweet and even one time offered me and my partner coffee when we came to take her to her appointment. My prayers are with the family, she will surely be missed.
