Karen J. Bartenstein, age 56, of Manassas, Virginia, passed away on December 26, 2015. She was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan on May 15, 1959. She was the beloved mother of three daughters, Jennifer White, Amy Combs, and Jaclyn Jones and son, George Santoro; cherished Nana to seven grandchildren, Raymond, Tatiana, Naomi, Natalie, Tyler, Airiana, and Brooklyn. Karen is also survived by her siblings Linda Burges, Diane Miller, Donna Pickett, John Kirkpatrick, and Robin Shipp; and best friend, Beth Proffitt. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Janet Kirkpatrick and sister, Stacy Kirkpatrick.
The family will welcome friends on Monday, January 4, 2016, for a breakfast visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Murphy Funeral Home, Falls Church. Burial will immediately follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church.
