Kathleen Robison Herrin, 63, who served in several management positions at the US Environmental Protection Agency, died August 2, 2012. She had complications from a brain tumor. She received numerous awards including the EPA Distinguished Career Service Award.No better wife ever lived, no better mother ever lived. Everyone who knew her was the better for it and she will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.Kathie was a native of Altoona Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Walter Robison and Helen Wolf Robison. She received a Masters Degree for the State University of New York in psychology. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dennis, and her sons John and William. Funeral to be held Friday August 10, beginning with a 10:30 a.m. Mass at St Timothy’s Catholic Church, 13807 Poplar Rd., Chantilly, Va. ,followed by burial at National Memorial Park Cemetery, Lee Hwy, Falls Church, Va. Visiting hours will be Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm at the National Funeral Home,7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church.
