Kathleen Lloyd Peyton

Kathleen (Kate) was loved and cherished by her family and will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her husband John Gee Peyton, her parents William and Mary Lloyd, sister Eileen (Sally) Burke and brothers Felix (Bernie) Lloyd, Michael Lloyd and Robert Lloyd. She is survived by her sister Margaret (Peggy) Oliver of McLean, VA, sister-in-law Louise Lloyd of Falls Church, VA, her beloved daughter Kathleen (Lizz) and son-in-law Timothy Robison of Bristow, VA, step son John Jr. and daughter-in-law Lee Ann Peyton of Springfield, VA and numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Kate’s accomplishments were numerous. She lived in a beautiful home with beautiful gardens for 58 years where she raised her daughter. She retired from the Department of the Air Force as the Chief of Personnel Management after 36 years.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, 26 July at 12:00pm at Murphy’s funeral home at 1102 W Broad St, Falls Church, VA 22046. The service will begin at 1:00pm.
