

Kelley Ann Ruefly of Arlington VA passed away unexpectedly December 28th, 2023. She was born January 15, 1990 in Prince Georges County Maryland. She grew up and attended school in St. Mary's County Maryland.
She is survived by her Mom Pam Ryan, Dad Michael Ryan, Father John Ruefly, Sister Danielle Ruefly, MawMaw Sammie Arnold, close Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, a Niece and Nephew and many friends. She was a daughter, sister, grand-daughter, cousin, aunt and niece. She is preceded by grandparents.
Kelley lived her life fearlessly, head on, with no limits and recognized no mountain she could not move in order to complete her goals or aspirations. Her passion was helping others, her joys were accomplishments. She overlooked faults, forgave everything, saw nothing but the best in people and never met a stranger. Her love and compassion were fierce, devote and loyal. She embraced her family. She traveled every weekend to care for her grandmother, to hang out with her cherished relatives and connect with loyal friends.
Goal oriented, her early on accomplishments included perfect attendance, National Honor Society, CNA , Associate degree and completion of radiology courses. Working as a Lead Tech, she recently received the Hero award. Her future goals were CSAC, LPC and a Radiology degree. She hoped to work as a therapist, social worker or within the radiology field.
She loved her friends, fellow workers and her social community in Virginia. She talked about everyone, sharing stories of the fun times, often giggling at the memory or acting out an event. The pride in her work and in her fellow employees poured endlessly from her. She flourished surrounded by so many wonderful people.
Interests included school, working out, hiking, reading and swimming. Skiing and travel abroad were part of her long-term interests.
She will be dearly missed.
Kelley's life will be remembered Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 12-3 at the Murphy Funeral Home in Falls Church 1102 W. Broad St. Falls Church VA
