Kimberli K Newman

The family of Kimberli Kay Newman is saddened to announce her passing on June 17th, 2026. Born in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Irene and Fred Hughes. Kim is survived by her loving husband Paul Newman of 25 years and sisters Trudi Quear and Terri Nagel. Their husbands Joe Quear and Steve Nagel. Nieces Melanie, Stefanie and Kayla. Nephews Steven and Benjamin. Paul was by her side day and night throughout her illness. She passed away peacefully at home. She loved her 2 dogs Penny and Izzy and they were her children.

Kim had many interests especially her love of animals, her political interests, avid fan of the Washington Commanders, Washington Capitals and Washington Nationals. Kim was liked by everyone she met as she treated them with respect and greeted them with a smile. She was a beloved presence in the lives of her family and friends, remembered for her warmth, kindness, internal spirit. Kim will forever live in our hearts.

A private service will be held in Newcastle PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Lawrence County, PA Humane Society would be appreciated in memory of her love for animals.
