Kiran Mohan Daswani passed away peacefully on May 24th, 2020 at home surrounded by family. Kiran successfully beat colon cancer in 2006. In 2018, she had to undergo a surgery due to the effects of colorecatal cancer; which lead to further complications. In the last two years, Kiran fought an herculean battle. Kiran is survived by her husband Mohan, her children Sanjay, Resham, Divya, and Amit, grandchildren Vivaan and Annika; and a large family of siblings, and cousins, all of whom loved her very much.
She was the life of a party and kept everyone entertained with her boundless energy. Her stories, anecdotes, and advice will be long remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She loved good music and late-night conversations, which would often go into the early hours of the morning.
Her smile warmed everyone's heart. She was a deeply devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and a steadfast friend to many. She had boundless love for all and was loved by everyone who knew her. The one quality that defined her, especially in her battle with the disease, is tenacious. She never gave up and will be a source of inspiration for us in our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation towards fighting colorectal disease with a donation to Colorectal Cancer Alliance, which will help others with their fight against this truly horrific disease. https://fundraise.ccalliance.org/blue-star-tributes/KiranDaswani
