Lee Roy Poston

Mr. Poston was born December 13, 1932 in Marion, Virginia, the son of Roy Amos and Mandy Ona Ryburn Poston.

He was a machinist for Apex in Winchester, Virginia.

He was a member of Berryville Moose Lodge #2139; Winchester Eagles Lodge #824; and Winchester VFW Post 2123.

He was married to Barbara Wood Poston who preceded him in death in 1990.

Surviving is a son, Duane Lee Poston and his wife Fran of Boyce, VA; three sisters, Phyllis Vernon and her husband, Ronnie of Chilhowie, VA; Reba Hopkins and her husband, Bill of Marion, VA and Pauline Olinger and her husband, Chilhowie, VA; two brothers, Sam Poston and Ernest Poston both of Marion, VA; and many nieces and nephews.

A sister, Nancy Belvins and a brother, Howard Poston preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA with Pastor Robert Glasscock officiating. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 P. M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
