Peacefully, on Saturday February 25, 2012, with her husband and children by her side, Leola Jean Dumont reached the end of her life. She was the devoted wife for 62 years to Lorn Dumont, beloved mother of Lewis (Mary), Lee (Denise), Lorna (Kurt), Lane (David), Lester (Rhonda), Lena (Gerry), Larry (Linda), Loren (Mary). Predeceased by children Lloyd and Linda. Loving grandmother to Jeremy (Marisa), Douglas, Matthew, Philip, Lara, Drew, Brian, Nolan, Nathan and Daniel; and adoring great grandmother to Kaaj Thomas. She was a beautiful wife and wonderful person to her family and friends.
The viewing will be held at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 and from8 to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday March 1, 2012, followed by a mass at St. James Catholic Church, 905 Park Ave from 10 to 11 a.m. There will be no graveside ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association .
