After courageously battling cancer for 17 years,LIBRADA PENID-LOPEZ "JoJo" ascended into Heaven on April 17,2013 at Sibley Memorial Hospital. Having graciously served The World Bank for 25 years, her kind and loving nature will be missed by her surviving husband, Joseph Lopez, daughter, Francesca Lopez,colleagues, friends, and her parents. The Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30am on Tuesday, April 23, at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 8601 Wolftrap Rd., Vienna, VA, with interment immediately following at National Memorial Park, Lee Hwy. , Falls Church, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests prayers for her loving soul.
