Linda M. Schlipper, 69, of Reston, Virginia passed away on December 10, 2014. She was born November 10, 1945 in Arlington, Virginia to parents Donald E. and Virginia (Beale) Murray. She graduated from Mary Washington College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and later obtained a Masters Degree from the University of Maryland pertaining to Information Technology. Always an avid learner, she spent her retirement years pursuing such personal interests as drawing, genealogy, historical lectures, and reading The New York Times.
Her sister Carol Saunders and brother-in-law Kenneth of Lovettsville, VA, niece Lisa Murray of Columbus, OH, and nephew Michael Murray of Somerville, MA survive her.
Arrangements handled by Colonial Funeral Home, Leesburg, VA; interment 12/16/2014 at 12:00 noon at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA.
