A Good Man Died Today! He was not famous beyond his family, church and neighborhood. He was a husband, father, grandfather, a Catholic, neighbor and friend. Even more, he was a scientist, a mechanic, a gardener, a waiter, a money counter, an usher, a problem solver ……. the man to call when you needed help. He didn’t seem to know how to say no. He didn’t walk to your aid…. He ran. In recent years he added to his list of talents…. Caregiver, pharmacist, launderer, grocery shopper, cook and housekeeper. He did it willingly from his love for Helen. How could a man of Louie’s stature be so large? Within his earthly body beat a super human heart. We all assumed that his energy was limitless, but God said “NO”. I wonder! Did Louie need a rest? Or did God need help? We will miss him. He was truly one of a kind. Farewell.

Helen and Family,
Lou was a good friend and always brought me fond memories of my time working with him supporting Mike Davenport. My time with the team always was good and Lou kept us all on the 'straight and narrow'. I am deeply humbled to have known him and all the goodness that followed him. I will always remember the good times we shared and I am sure he will be deeply missed. My deepest condolences.

Dear Carole and Family~
Know that you are in our thoughts during this time. Sad the day when our Father and Grandfather are called to do their forever job, being an Angel and watching over us. My hope is that the days ahead bring back wonderful memories that will make all of you smile and your hearts a little lighter!

Lou, you were the best first boss I ever had. I used to tell people that you were "tough, but fair". You set the bar for a good work ethic that served me well, and I'm grateful for that. Most of all, you were a compassionate person and one I was blessed to call a friend.

Good bless you and hope it's your turn to have some angels take care of you.

Much love to the sad family you left behind. My prayers are with you and them.
