

Lucy was born in Chile, but made Virginia her home more than 40 years ago. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Fullen, who passed away in 2020 after 42 years of marriage, and by her son, Jaime, who passed away in 2026 at the age of 75. She is survived by her sisters, Carmen, 84, and Cristina, 90. She is also survived by her daughter, Luz Maria, with whom she shared an extraordinary bond and with whom she lived the last six years of her life.
To Luz Maria, Lucy was not only a mother, but also her best friend. Their days were filled with conversation, laughter, and unwavering love. One of their favorite traditions was their annual trip to Rehoboth Beach, where they created cherished memories together year after year.
Lucy will be remembered as a lovable, affectionate, and caring woman with a wonderful sense of humor and positive attitude. She was determined to achieve her goals, never gave up in the face of adversity, and inspired others through her resilience and strength.
She found happiness in reading, crocheting, listening to music, and traveling. She embraced life's adventures with curiosity and enthusiasm. Her kindness, optimism, and loving spirit touched all who knew her.
Though she will be deeply missed, Lucy's love lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her laughter, courage, and enduring spirit will never be forgotten.Lucy S Fullen passed on June 15, 2026, at the age of 95.
