Marcia Ann Reed of Burke VA, passed away on Monday October 12, 2020 at the age of 69. She was a loving mother to her two sons Michael and Daniel Roach. Marcia adored her two granddaughters Annabel and Adeline. Marcia is also survived by her sister, Emma Slackman, and two brothers Stanley and James Reed.
She grew up in the Falls Church and Arlington area and was a graduate of Fall Church High School, class of 1969. Marcia worked as a medical technologist at Fairfax Hospital for over 25 years and was a Magistrate for Fairfax County for about 10 years.
Marcia’s passion was to help veterans and volunteered with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Her memorial service will be Saturday November 7, 2020 at 3pm at the Murphy Funeral Home in Falls Church, 1102 West Broad.
