Margaret Frances Connor

Margaret “Peggy” Frances Connor of Arlington, Va. passed away on June 8, 2015 at the age of 90. Peggy was born on February 4, 1925, daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Holt. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Earl Connor; daughters, Dottie Harvey (Bill), Robin Pafford (Brad) and Edie Pybus (Mike) and sisters, Patsy Holliday, Mernie Irby and Lee Kearns; seven grandchildren , Joshua (Cori), Kelly, Courtney, Samuel, Christina, Emilyann, Bryant and great-grandson Connor. She is preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Buddy Holt, Clinton Holt, Lorraine Carter and Edith Lamb. Visitation will be at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad Street, Falls Church on Friday, June 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Walker Chapel U.M.C. at 4102 North Glebe Rd., Arlington, Va. on Saturday, June 13 at 2 p.m. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to Walker Chapel U.M.C. Memorial Fund in memory of Peggy Connor.
